Chrostowski Named Three-Position Smallbore Champion

Camp Perry, Ohio- Kim Chrostowski was named the three-position smallbore champion with a score of 2,263 in regulation at the 2006 NRA Championships on July 21.  Chrostowski finished third overall against nearly 400 international shooters in the two-day competition held in Camp Perry, Ohio.  Her performance also placed her among 12 junior competitors selected for the Drew Cup International Postal Rifle championship team that took on a team from England earlier this week. 

A junior anthropology major, Chrostowski was a member of the 2005-06 NCAA runner-up Nebraska rifle team.  She was also the 2005 Championship of America’s Team smallbore champion and more recently added a third-place finish at the 2006 Junior Olympics held March 25-28 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Chrostowski will enter her junior year with the Huskers this fall.
