Lubbock, Texas - The No. 63 Nebraska men's tennis team fell to No. 46 Texas Tech, 6-1, Friday, in Lubbock, Texas.
The Huskers, after winning four of the past eight doubles points, were swept in the doubles column. At No. 1, senior Jerry Posch and sophomore Mark Tate had their two-match win streak ended, falling to Adrian Prpic and Christian Rojmar, 8-5.
In singles, Posch lost to his fifth ranked opponent in seven matches, falling to No. 64 Adrian Prpic, 6-1, 7-6. Freshman Hendrik Stahmer was the only win for the Huskers, beating Teddy DiBlasi in the No. 6 spot, 6-3, 7-6.
The Huskers turn around to face to No. 6 Baylor, Sunday, at 1 p.m. in Waco, Texas.
