Huskers to Play Belmont After Bradley Withdraws
The No. 59 Nebraska men's tennis team will play Belmont University on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 4 p.m. in Little Rock, Ark. Nebraska was originally scheduled to play Bradley, but the Bulldogs withdrew due to injuries.
The Huskers hope to build off the momentum they gained after winning their home opener against Drake and Air Force at the new Nebarska Tennis Center. Nebraska will head to Little Rock, Ark., to take on the Bruins and Arkansas-Little Rock, Feb. 26, at 8 a.m. All matches will be played at the Little Rock Raquet Club.
Huskers Jump in Rankings
The Huskers made another jump in the national rankings, moving from No. 62 to 59 in the latest ranking released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Feb. 23. Last week the Huskers moved up from No. 75 to 62 after finishing the 2004-05 season ranked at No. 75.
