? Henne completed 21-of-43 passes for a season-best 270 yards and three touchdowns against Nebraska and scored his first rushing touchdown of the season on a seven-yard quarterback keeper. Henne rushed 13 times for a career-high 38 yards in the game with four sacks figuring in that total.
? Steve Breaston surpassed 200 all-purpose yards for the second straight bowl game, gaining 224 yards on 13 touches. In addition to his 146 kickoff return yards, Breaston had seven punt returns for 72 yards, one catch for eight yards, and a reverse that lost two yards.
? Breaston set both the single-game and longest kickoff return records in the 2005 Alamo Bowl. His 69-yard kickoff return in the first quarter is the longest in the game's history, and his 146 kickoff return yards on four attempts broke the previous mark of 107 yards attained by Kansas State's Frank Murphy against Purdue in the 1998 game.

? Both of Michigan's tight ends scored receiving touchdowns in the Alamo Bowl, Tyler Ecker on a 13-yard pass during the first quarter and Mike Massey on a 16-yard scoring strike in the second stanza.
? Senior wide receiver and co-captain Jason Avant finished his career with a 1,000-yard receiving season. Avant caught eight passes for 81 yards against Nebraska to eclipse 1,000 yards for the first time in his career (1,017).

? Hall's two interceptions match a key high achieved at Purdue last season (Oct. 25, 2003). The last time a Wolverine made a pair of interceptions was earlier this season when Willis Barringer grabbed two picks at Michigan State (Oct. 1, 2005).
? With the two picks, Leon Hall became the eighth player in Michigan history to collect 25 career pass breakups. Hall lists tied for seventh on the school's career pass breakup list (25).
