Lincoln - Ten members of the Nebraska women’s basketball team earned recognition from the conference for their academic accomplishments by being named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll during the 2005 Spring Semester.

Senior point guard Jina Johansen and former Husker Katie Morse, a fifth-year senior academically, both produced perfect 4.0 grade-point averages in their final semesters at Nebraska before earning their bachelor’s degrees in May.

Freshmen Danielle Page and Sarah White each claimed spots on the honor roll, along with first-year players Elena Diaz, Ivana Drmanac, Jelena Spiric and Bojana Samardziska. Sophomores Jessica Gerhart and Heather Kephart rounded out the strong contingent of 10 Huskers on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
