Pluhowsky Among 60 Nebraska Graduates

Lincoln ? Three-time All-American Shannon Pluhowsky was among a talented collection of 60 University of Nebraska student-athletes, which included 11 individual All-Americans across NU’s men’s and women’s athletic programs, graduated during the spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.  Pluhowsky earned her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

In her career as a Husker, Pluhowsky led NU to three national titles, including back-to-back titles in 2004-05.  According to head coach Bill Straub, Pluhowsky is the first female bowler to earn three collegiate championships.  She also earned 12 individual titles in 36 events for the Huskers.
