Husker fans in the Western part of the state will get an opportunity for a first-hand look at Nebraska’s 2005 recruiting class. The Beef Club and Cattle Club will host a recruiting dinner in North Platte at the Quality Inn Sandhills Convention Center on Friday, Feb. 25.
The highlight of the evening will be the lineup of featured speakers. The group includes Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson, a North Platte native, Husker defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove, NU Associate Athletic Director for Football Operations Tim Cassidy and NU Assistant Director of Athletic Development and Husker Legend Tommie Frazier.
In addition to hearing from Pederson, Cosgrove, Cassidy and Frazier, those in attendance will have the opportunity to view highlights of each of Nebraska’s 31 signees in the 2005 recruiting class. The evening begins with a social hour from 6-7 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and the evening’s program at 7:45 p.m.
Cost of tickets to the Beef and Cattle Club recruiting dinner is $40 or a table of eight for $300. Fans are encouraged to call as soon as possible for tickets, as space is limited, and those making reservations by Friday, Feb. 18, will have their tickets mailed on Monday, Feb. 21. The remainder of the tickets will be held at the Sandhills Convention Center for pick up on the evening of the dinner.
