Huskers Continue Preparing for Buffs

Lincoln - The Nebraska football team continued preparing for this Friday’s matchup against Colorado with a two-hour practice inside Memorial Stadium Tuesday afternoon. The workout finished after darkness had fallen and temperatures had dropped to near-freezing levels.

NU will hold its final full-scale practice of the week Wednesday afternoon, before holding a short walkthrough on Thursday.

Media Note: The U.S. Marine Corps will once be collecting "Toys for Tots" before the Colorado game. New unwrapped toys for children of all ages, or monetary gifts will be collected by Marines at all gates before the game on Friday. Toys will also be collected by Santa Claus at the Husker Nation Pavilion before Friday’s game. Anyone bring a toy or making a donation at the Pavilion will have the opportunity to talk with Santa.
