Soccer Match to be Aired Live on Huskers.com

The University of Nebraska and KRNU are pleased to announce that KRNU radio will broadcast the Husker soccer team’s Sweet 16 match at Illinois, live on Saturday at 5 p.m. The broadcast will be available for free on Huskers.com.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

Dave Hunt will handle play-by-play duties as NU seeks its third trip to the Elite Eight in the 11-year history of the program.

 

When Nebraska (14-8) and Illinois (15-5-2) take the field on Saturday, it will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools. It will also mark the first Sweet 16 appearance for the Fighting Illini, while the Huskers have advanced to the Sweet 16 in eight of the past nine seasons.
