Plans Detailed for Tom and Nancy Osborne Athletic Complex Ground-Breaking Ceremony

LINCOLN, Neb. ? The University of Nebraska Athletic Department announced plans for the Ground-Breaking Ceremony for the Tom and Nancy Athletic Complex and the Memorial Stadium expansion projects. University and athletic dignitaries along with Tom and Nancy Osborne, will be on hand for the festivities on  Aug. 10.

The Ground-Breaking Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on the North side of Memorial Stadium. Regardless of weather, the ceremony will take place outdoors at the construction site. All participants and attendees should enter the construction site from the Northwest corner, off Stadium Drive, which will be closed for the morning festivities.

The ceremony is open to the public and will include the traditional turning of dirt by those individuals who have had a direct impact on the project.
