Lincoln - Nebraska's Chelsea Aubry was one of 17 players to earn a spot on the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team roster for a summer exhibition tour against the Japanese Women's Olympic Team in British Columbia June 4-8.
Aubry, a 6-2 freshman forward for the Huskers last season, joined the Canadians for training camp at Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C., May 19-June 3. Following the camp, the team will compete in a four-city exhibition tour.
A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Aubry competed with the 2003 Canadian Development Women's National Team last summer in Daegu, Korea, and is making her first appearance with the Senior National Team.
Aubry averaged 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game as one of Nebraska's top reserves last season. She played all 30 games for the 18-12 Huskers and averaged more than 18 minutes per contest.
