After an exciting 71-70 victory over Creighton on Tuesday night in the opening round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), the Nebraska men's basketball team will play host to a first-round game at the Devaney Center on Friday, March 19. The game will tip off at 7:05 p.m. with Nebraska facing the winner of tonight's Niagara-Troy State contest.
Tickets for the Huskers' first postseason home game since 1999 can still be purchased by logging onto Huskers.com or at the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office. Fans have two pricing options for tickets to Friday's game. Section C (padded) seats are available for $10 while Section C (plastic) and upper benches can be purchased for $8. Student end zone seating (Red Zone area) can also be purchased for $10, and all seats on the floor will be reserved. Section A and B seats were also available to the general public but quickly sold out Wednesday morning.
Season ticket holders were recently given the opportunity to purchase their tickets. All remaining tickets are now currently on sale. Season ticket holders should have already received their ticket to NU's first home NIT contest (Game 1 ticket), which will be valid on Friday.
To order tickets, either log onto Huskers.com or contact the NU Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-8BIGRED or 402-472-3111. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the ticket office, located at T Street and Stadium Drive (adjacent to Memorial Stadium).
