The Nebraska Athletic Department is calling for a “Red Alert” for this weekend’s men’s basketball game against nationally ranked Kansas at the Devaney Center. Fans are encouraged to wear red to the game, which will tip off at 12:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC. Nebraska, which has a 13-7 record after defeating Texas A&M on the road Wednesday night, is 11-2 at home this season, marking the 22nd time in 28 years the Huskers have won at least 10 games at the BDSC. The Huskers cruised past Missouri, 78-62, on Feb. 7 in their last contest in Lincoln.
Along with the “Red Alert,” the Nebraska head football coach Bill Callahan and his coaching staff will be introduced to the public at halftime of the NU-KU contest. A limited amount of tickets are still available by contacting the NU Athletic Ticket Office at Huskers.com and 1-800-8BIGRED.
