Williams, Bullocks Named to Mid-Season All-America Teams

Lincoln -- Demorrio Williams is not the only Husker defender receiving national recognition this week. He is joined by sophomore free safety Josh Bullocks on the SI.com Midseason All-America team.

The selection of Williams and Bullocks to the first team made Nebraska just one of three defensive units with two players on the SI.com defensive listing, joining Georgia and Oklahoma. Those three schools currently own the top three spots in the nation in total defense.

Williams and Bullocks were also recognized for their play on the collegefootballnews.com midseason All-America squad. Williams was a first-team selection on the defense, while Bullocks was listed on the web sites "Notable Exceptions" group. Bullocks is tied for the nation's lead in interceptions per game at 1.0 with six total. Bullocks is just one interception from tying the Nebraska season interception record and has intercepted a pass in five of six games this season.
