Big Red Express Shuttle Information

Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 11, 2003 -- Nebraska football fans planning to use the ?Big Red Express' buses to Memorial Stadium from the N. 27th Street area are reminded that the pick-up location has been moved this season to North Star High School, 5801 N. 33rd St.

StarTran also offers Big Red Express shuttle service to and from the stadium from Southeast Community College, 8800 O St.; Holmes Lake, 70th Street and Normal Boulevard; Westfield Shopping Center, 61st and O streets; Nebraska Department of Roads, 14th and Burnham streets; and South Pointe Pavilion, 27th Street and Pine Lake Road. The Express no longer picks up at Sam's or Super KMart on N. 27th Street. The cost of the shuttle is $3 each way. Service begins two hours before kickoff and riders are dropped off at the east side of the stadium.

Butch Hug, assistant athletics director for events, also reminded fans that handicapped parking is available at 19th and R streets, with shuttles to the stadium.
