Nebraska senior Richelle Simpson and the Canadian National Team took home a silver medal at the team competition of the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic over the weekend. Simpson, who finished ninth in the all-around (35.337), will advance to the event finals on the floor exercise. Canada will have two gymnasts in each of the event finals to be held Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. (Eastern Time).
