Nebraska Softball's Sunday Games Cancelled

Due to continuous rain overnight and Sunday morning, championship play at the 2003 Florida State Seminole Invitational was cancelled. Third-ranked Nebraska ended tournament play with a 2-1 record, defeating Southern Illinois, 4-0, and Miami of Ohio, 4-2, but suffering a 4-3 upset loss to unranked Troy State in eight innings Saturday night. The Huskers (14-2), will return to action when they travel to Fullerton, Calif., for the Kia Classic March 12-16.

An all-tournament team for the Seminole Classic will be announced on Monday.
