Lincoln, Neb. - The Huskers will hit the links for the second time this spring when they travel to Florida for the Emerald Coast Collegiate. The event is hosted by West Florida University and takes place at the par-72, 7,041-yard Tiger Point Country Club in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
While a challenging field of 17 teams will meet up with the Huskers, Nebraska will be the lone representative of the Big 12 conference.
The squad is coming off of a sixth-place showing in its season-opener. With rounds of 302, 291 and 299, the team put together a final score of 893 for its second-lowest score of the 2002-03 season and the third-best finish.
