Boston, Mass. -- A pair of Nebraska tennis players were in action Sunday at the Harvard Crimson Classic. Senior Lance Mills fought a long battle with George Turner of Harvard during the final round of the consolation competition. Mills lost a close match to Turner, 1-6, 6-4, 0-1 (8).
Mills tied the match at one set each, forcing a third set, which was played to eight points.
Freshman Jacek Wolicki also competed in the last day of the tournament for Nebraska, losing to Drew Dinkmeyer of Dartmouth in the semifinals of the consolation round, 4-6, 7-5, (3-10). The last game was played to ten points.
The Huskers are next in action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Pre-Qualifier in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Oct. 5-7.
