NU Women's Game at Oklahoma State Moved to 8:30 p.m.

Lincoln -- The Nebraska women's basketball game at Oklahoma State on Wednesday, Feb. 28, has been moved from its original 7 p.m. tip-off time to an 8:30 p.m. tip, the Big 12 Conference office announced on Monday, Feb. 19. The game will become part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader in Stillwater, that will begin with the Oklahoma State men playing host to Baylor at 6 p.m.

The Oklahoma State vs. Baylor men's game was moved from Tuesday, Feb. 27, to Feb. 28 so that OSU could have a day off after playing at Texas Tech on Monday, Feb. 26. The Cowboys' game at Lubbock was originally scheduled for Jan. 30, but was postponed because of the tragic crash of an Oklahoma State team plane in Colorado.

The change marks the second shift of a Husker women's basketball game to a men's and women's doubleheader this season because of the Oklahoma State tragedy. The Husker women also played Oklahoma with an 8:30 p.m. scheduled tip, which followed a Nebraska men's victory over Oklahoma State at the Devaney Center on Feb. 7. The Nebraska vs. Oklahoma State men's game went to overtime, and the Husker women did not start until after 9 p.m.
