Paine Announces Retirement

Lincoln -- Rick Paine has coached at Nebraska for the past 16 years. While serving as Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Paine has personally produced 28 NCAA All-Americans and recruited more than 50 All-Americans and world ranked swimmers.

Paine recently served as the Head Coach for the Austrian Olympic Team in Sydney. While at Nebraska, Paine has coached finalists at every major championship in the world.

Following the retirement of Head Coach Cal Bentz, Paine is leaving the University to pursue a career in the private sector.
