Huskers Finish Fourth at Midwest Classic

Dallas, Texas - The Nebraska women's golf finished in fourth place today at the Midwest Classic at the Hyatt Bear Creek Golf Course in Dallas, Texas. The Huskers shot rounds of 318-315-315 to finish 12 strokes behind first-place TCU.

The Huskers were led by sophomore Sarah Sasse as the Lincoln native fired rounds of 81-75-79 to finish in seventh place, nine strokes behind leader Angela Stanford of TCU. Sophomore Catha Fogelberg (Helsingborg, Sweden) fired a 238 to finish tied for ninth place.

Senior Elizabeth Bahensky finished with a score of 239, good for a share of 11th place. Sophomore Amanda Sutcliffe (Gunnedah, NSW) fired a 242 while junior Amy Roux (Kearney, Neb.) rounded out the Husker lineup with a score of 243.
