Huskers Finish Second at Regionals

Manhattan, Kan. -- The Nebraska women's bowling team placed second at the Association of College Unions-International (ACU-I) in Manhattan, Kansas. The Huskers tallied 8595 points behind Central Missouri State's 8674.

Besides the team competition, the top two female in at the ACU-I automatically qualify for the ACU-I singles championship held this may in Reno, Nevada. Although Nebraska failed to qualify for the singles championship, the Huskers had strong performances by sophomore Diandra Hyman (Dyer, Ind.) who finished fourth with a total score of 1837 and freshman Kari Schwager (Montgomery, Ill.) who finished in sixth place with a score of 1771.
