Ogee Leads NU to 11-0 Win Over Southwest Missouri State

Lincoln, Neb. -- Junior outfielder Kim Ogee went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run to lead the fourth-ranked Nebraska softball team to an 11-0 victory over Southwest Missouri State Monday afternoon before 351 fans at Bowlin Stadium. Ogee was one of four Huskers to produce two or more hits, as NU tied its season-high totals in runs and hits (13) in the five-inning run-rule win.
Senior pitcher Leigh Ann Walker (17-2) and Lisa Wangler combined for a one-hit shutout. Walker picked up the victory for Nebraska (31-6), tossing three innings of no-hit ball and striking out seven Bears. Wangler allowed one hit in two innings of relief.
Sarah Nemlowill (1-3) took the loss for the Bears (15-13), giving up seven runs on six hits in one-third of an inning.
