NU falls to No. 10 DePaul but advances to the NFCA Silver Bracket

Lincoln -- The No. 15 Nebraska softball team finished pool play at the NFCA Leadoff Classic Saturday morning with a 1-2 record after falling to No. 10 DePaul, 3-1. The Huskers, 6-6 on the season, finished third in their four-team pool -- defeating Long Island and losing to No. 5 California yesterday -- and grabbed an at-large bid into the Silver Bracket. NU will face second-ranked Oklahoma tonight at 8 p.m. and will finish the tournament playing at either 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
