Lincoln -- All-American Lindsay Eddleman scored two goals to lead the No. 8 Nebraska soccer team to a 3-0 win over No. 17 Baylor in front of 803 fans at the Abbott Sports Complex in Lincoln on Sunday.

Eddleman, a senior forward from Lakewood, Colo., scored a pair of goals late in the second half to help the Huskers put away the Bears and avenge a 1-0 loss at Baylor last season. Eddleman gave Nebraska a 2-0 lead at 76:35 with her header off an assist on a corner kick from junior midfielder Jenny Benson. Eddleman added her second goal less than three minutes later by beating the Baylor defense for a 3-0 lead at 79:33.

Sophomore midfielder Meghan Anderson scored the game-winning goal for the Huskers on a free kick at the 35:57 mark to give Nebraska a 1-0 lead.

The Huskers, who finished second to the Bears in the 1998 Big 12 Conference regular-season standings, outshot Baylor, 27-5, and outcornered the Bears, 12-2, while dominating the action throughout the day and improve to 2-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in Big 12 play.

Nebraska coach John Walker said he was impressed with the Huskers
