Lincoln -- The No. 4 Nebraska soccer team completed a perfect sweep of Big 12 Conference regular-season opponents with a 7-0 blanking of Iowa State in front 1,089 fans on Senior Night at the Abbott Sports Complex in Lincoln on Friday.
The Huskers ended the conference season with a perfect 10-0-0 record, while improving to 17-1-1 overall on the year, sending seniors Lindsay Eddleman, Isabelle Morneau, Sharolta Nonen and Amy Walsh off with a flourish during their final regular-season home games at the Abbott Sports Complex.
Eddleman, who improved her Nebraska career scoring record to 122 points with a goal and an assist continued to provide a dangerous offensive presence for the Huskers. Nonen, an two-time All-America defender, added an assist, while midfielder Amy Walsh capped her return to the starting lineup after a four-game absence because of an ankle injury with her fourth goal of the season.
