No. 12 Huskers take two from 22nd-ranked Texas A&M

Lincoln, Neb. -- The No. 12 Nebraska softball team maintained its hold over first place in the Big 12 Conference with a doubleheader sweep of No. 22 Texas A&M Saturday before 673 fans at the NU Softball Complex. The Huskers (42-10 overall and 12-1 in the Big 12), who have won 13 straight and 32 of their last 33, came from behind in the seventh inning to defeat the Aggies 3-2 in game one before pulling out a 1-0 victory in game two.
Nebraska holds a percentage-points lead over second-place Oklahoma, which improved to 10-3 in the league with a 16-0 win over Baylor Saturday afternoon.
