Dallas -- The tenth-ranked SMU men's tennis team defeated 70th-ranked Nebraska, 6-1, Friday afternoon at Haggar Tennis Stadium on the campus of SMU. SMU opened the match with three doubles wins for a 1-0 lead and continued its hot play with five straight singles victories. The match was clinched at the No. 1 position, where 26th-ranked Ignacio Hirigoyen defeated Dinko Verzi, 6-1, 6-3.
