No. 1 Nebraska sweeps Texas Tech on Senior Night

Lincoln -- The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team closed its regular-season home slate in style Wednesday night, defeating Texas Tech 15-2, 15-3, 15 -9 in a night of celebrations at the NU Coliseum.
A season-high crowd of 4,283 were in attendance as the Huskers honored seniors Kim Behrends, Jill McWilliams and Angie Oxley, who played in the final home match of their careers. Following the senior celebration, NU Director of Athletics Bill Byrne presented Nebraska with the 2000 Big 12 championship trophy, an award the Huskers mathematically clinched Nov. 15.
