Opening Comments:

First of all, we're playing the Miami, so our fans should be familiar with the Hurricanes. With Miami, actually my first club team in 1986, (Miami Head Coach) Nicole Lantagne Welch was a ninth grader on that team. I also coached her sister, who played at Pitt and was also in college coaching. I feel like I'm getting really old. Here I am coaching against one of my former club players with a second-year program in the Sweet 16.  She's done an amazing job. It will be an eerie experience in that regard.

 

Also, I think our fans are in for a treat this weekend. When you consider the teams that can win a national championship, you have to consider that Hawaii and Nebraska are really going to be playing for a shot to win the national championship if we meet up on Saturday. It's almost a mini-final four coming out.
