Nebraska Sweeps KU in Best Offensive Performance of the Season
Sophomore outside hitter Laura Pilakowski led both teams with 17 kills on .484 hitting. Freshman outside hitter Anna Schrad produced five kills on seven attacks and no errors for a.714 percentage. Sophomore middle blocker Amber Holmquist had eight kills (.467 hitting) and junior middle blocker Jenny Kropp recorded eight kills on .467 hitting.
Defensively, Nebraska held KU to .193 hitting and out-blocked the Jayhawks 9-2.
With the win, the Huskers improved to 10-0 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12 Conference. NU has swept eight of its 10 opponents this season and owns a 44-2 all-time record when competing as the No. 1 team.
