Nebraska opens NCAA Tournament with sweep of Princeton

Lincoln - The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team opened its 19th straight NCAA Tournament Friday night with its 42nd postseason victory and first under Coach John Cook, a 15-9, 15-2, 15-7 defeat of Princeton before a sellout crowd of 4,026 fans at the NU Coliseum.
Junior middle blocker Jenny Kropp led the 29-0 Huskers, seeded No. 1 in the Central Region, with 10 kills, and sophomore setter Greichaly Cepero recorded six kills on .667 hitting in two games. Cepero, the Big 12 Conference player of the year, added three digs and 21 set assists.
With the win, Nebraska advances to Saturday
