Nebraska Conquers Kansas State, 68-61

Manhattan, Kan. -- Nicole Kubik scored 19 of her season-high 26 points in the second half to lead Nebraska to its fourth consecutive victory with a 68-61 win over Kansas State in front of 7,680 fans at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan., on Sunday.
With the win, the Huskers improved to 5-2 in Big 12 Conference action and 11-7 overall, while Kansas State slipped to 2-6 in league play and 9-12 overall.
Kubik, a senior guard from Cambridge, Neb., tied her season-high with five 3-pointers, including four 3-pointers in the second half to lead the Huskers. She added five rebounds and two assists.
