Seniors Amber Holmquist and Laura Pilakowski combined for 30 kills and hit .560 and .522, respectively, to lead the No. 5 Nebraska volleyball team to a 30-23, 30-19, 30-19, victory over Baylor Saturday afternoon at the Ferrell Center.

 

With the win, Nebraska captured at least a share of its sixth Big 12 championship. The Huskers, 26-1 overall and 18-0 in the league, held a two-game lead over second-place Kansas State heading into the weekend. KSU faces Texas at 7 p.m. tonight in Austin. Nebraska has won five of a possible six Big 12 titles outright ­
