Moreley and Koerner Make Provisional Marks

Husker sophomore Amanda Moreley threw for a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 186-03 in the hammer throw Friday at the Pamonoa-Pitzer Invitational. Junior Krisztina Kovesi placed first in the women's long jump with a mark of 20-1 while sophomore Kathryn Handrup placed second in the 5,000-meter run, breaking the Strehle Track Record with a time of 17:24.86. Other Huskers placing in events at Friday's meet were junior Emily Waibel coming in third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.80 and senior Derek Zachary clocking in at 14.02 in the 110-meter hurdles.
