Tallahasse, Fla --Freshman pitcher Katie Decker threw a one-hit shutout and senior first baseman Jamie Fuente was 3-for-4 with three runs and three doubles to lead the No. 18 Nebraska softall team to an 8-0 victory over Syracuse late Thursday night in Tallahassee, Fla. The Huskers improved to 17-9 overall and have won seven straight, including a 3-0 win over No. 16 Florida State Wednesday. Syracuse fell to 3-7.

Both teams are in town for the Tallahassee Democrat Seminole Tournament Friday through Sunday and were originally scheduled for Wednesday, but the game was moved to today because of rain.
