Shawnee, KAN. -- The 17th-ranked Nebraska softball team improved to 12-9 on the season, sweeping Minnesota and UMKC on Friday afternoon at the Creighton Spring Softball Classic that was relocated to the Johnson County Girls Athletic Association fields in Shawnee, Kan.
