Huskers Show Strength at Drake Relays

Des Moines, Iowa -- Despite the brief thunderstorm delay five Huskers placed in the top three of their events in the final day of the Drake Relays. Nebraska senior Melissa Price placed first in the hammer throw with a NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 202-09. Sophomore Amanda Moreley came in third with a distance of 178-05. Lesley Owusu, a senior, ran a 54.54 in the 400-meter dash resulting in a second place finish. In the men's division, senior Daniel Johnson placed first in the triple jump with a NCAA provisional distance of 51-8
