Huskers Cruise to 5-1 Win Over Wildcats

Lincoln -- The No. 8 Nebraska soccer team scored three first-half goals and cruised to a 5-1 win over Kentucky in front of 413 fans at the UK Soccer Complex in Lexington, Ky., on Sunday.
Sophomore midfielder Najah Williams came off the bench to score two goals for Nebraska, which improved to 4-0 on the season, while outshooting Kentucky, 16-4. The Wildcats, who earned a bid to the 1998 NCAA Tournament, dropped to 1-1-1 on the year.
Nebraska coach John Walker said the Huskers performed well in their first road contest of the season.
