Huskers Cruise Past Chicago State, 70-41

Lincoln - Margaret Richards scored 12 of her team-high 14 points in the first half, as Nebraska snapped a two-game losing streak with a 70-41 victory over Chicago State in front of 2,603 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Saturday.
Richards, a 5-9 junior from Louisville, Ky., came off the bench to spark a 16-2 first-half run, scoring five points and picking up a pair of steals in the spurt, as the Huskers overcame a sluggish start to improve to 6-0 at home this season. Richards hit 6-of-10 shots from the field and tied a career high with four steals in 17 minutes of action.
