Lincoln, Neb. -- Brandt Vlieger singled home Jamal Strong from third as the Nebraska baseball team (30-11 and 12-6) came from behind to beat Missouri 8-7 in 11 innings on Friday night at Buck Beltzer Stadium.

Strong led off the inning with a chopper to third off MU reliever Ralph McCasland. Strong beat the throw by MU third baseman Aaron Wilson, but the ball caromed away from first baseman Jake Epstein as Strong advanced to second. Strong stole third and Vlieger hit a 1-2 pitch deep to left center to score the game winner.
