Huskers Advance with 7-0 victory over Texas A&M

Lincoln -- The Nebraska soccer team scored five first-half goals and junior midfielder Lindsay Eddleman had a five-point performance in a 7-0 win over Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in front of 974 fans at the Abbott Sports Complex, on Sunday, Nov. 15.
With the win, the Huskers (17-3-1) advance to face fourth-seed Notre Dame in the third round of the tournament next Sunday at Notre Dame, Ind. Notre Dame (20-2-1) defeated Michigan 3-0 behind a two-goal effort by Monica Gerardo on Sunday afternoon.
Eddleman scored two first-half goals and picked up an assist, along with defender Sharolta Nonen, as Lauren Tatum scored just 1:05 into the game on the Huskers
