Lincoln, Neb. -- First baseman Jamie Fuente went 2-for-4 with a home run and a team-best three RBIs and Peaches James posted a career-best 12 strikeouts to lead the No. 14 Nebraska softball team to an 8-2 win over Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon at the NU Softball Complex. The Huskers are now 36-10 overall and 8-1 in the Big 12 Conference. Nebraska, which will face OSU again at 2 p.m. on Sunday, has won 26 of its last 27 games and is undefeated at home this season.
