Dallas -- Nebraska senior I-back Dahrran Diedrick and senior left rush end Chris Kelsay earned spots on the 2002 Preseason Media All-Big 12 Conference football teams announced by the league office on Monday, July 22.

Diedrick and Kelsay will lead a Nebraska football team that was picked to finish second in the Big 12 North Division race behind defending conference champion Colorado. Oklahoma was the preseason pick to win the Big 12 South Division, edging Texas.

Diedrick led the Big 12 in rushing in his first season as a starter in 2000. The 6-0, 225-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, rumbled for 1,299 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
