Brown Paces Huskers in Win

Ames, Iowa -- Behind a school record tying performance by senior Courtney Brown (Fishers, Ind.), the 11th-ranked Nebraska women's gymnastics team opened the season with an impressive victory at the Iowa State quadrangular Friday evening in Ames, Iowa.
The Huskers won four-team invitational with a team score of 193.725, .1.2 points better than 21st-ranked Iowa State, who finished second with a 192.575. No. 24 Michigan State (190.225) and Winona State (182.525) rounded out the field as the Huskers improved to 3-0 on the season. Nebraska
