Lincoln -- The Nebraska swimming and diving team opens the season this weekend with the beginning of a tough four meet stretch.

The Huskers will face Texas on Thursday at the Devaney Center Pool at 6 p.m., and then take on the rest of the conference Friday at the Big 12 Relays beginning at 9 a.m. before wrapping up Saturday morning against Texas A&M and Missouri.

NU is hosting the Big 12 Relays for the second time in school history. The first came in 1998 when the Huskers took first with 72 points, just 10 ahead of runner-up Texas.
