Lincoln, Neb. -- A day following the greatest offense performance in NCAA Division I history, the Nebraska baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Chicago State with a 11-7 win over the Cougars in front of a crowd of 355 at Buck Beltzer Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Four Huskers had two hits apiece and senior right-hander Jarod Bearinger retired all 12 batters he faced in the final four innings, including seven strikeouts, to earn his first victory of the 1999 season.
