Lincoln - A pair of Husker standouts were honored for their work in the weight room Wednesday evening, as baseball player Aaron Marsden (Grand Forks, N.D.) and softball player Lisa Wangler (Mesa, Ariz.) were chosen as the 2003 Husker Power Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Both players were honored during the annual Husker Power Banquet at the Hewit Center, as the NU Athletic Department recognized 15 University of Nebraska student-athletes for their achievements in the weight room and for motivating their teammates throughout the year. The Athletic Performance Staff chooses one winner per team, as each recipient is a finalist for the Husker Power Male and Female Athlete of the Year.
