On the one-shoe touchdown
“You don’t really see that in football, so that was my first test. And I was at top speed too. Even if I had both shoes on, I wonder what would be my top speed. It’s pretty crazy, yeah. It was crazy because I didn’t expect something to happen like that.”
On responding to adversity
“It really shows what we could be like. It shows how we don’t give up and how we can flip a bad situation to a good. We really needed that and it shows if we keep playing how we’re playing through good snaps and bad snaps – we just have to focus on what’s next. Keep doing what we’ve been doing. Play good football. We really needed that.”
On being the hot hand
“I like getting the ball and when the ball is in my hands, I don’t like going down or getting tackled. I always make the first dude miss. Dana (Holgorsen) – he knows how to get me the ball. When he gave me the ball on that play and I got the touchdown, it just showed what I can do with the ball. I thought I was the hot hand to get the ball to and make the play and that’s what I’m here to do.”
